THE DEAL
Two civil engineering business partners who are about to retire and two younger engineers taking over - how to please them all? We started out with a more traditional builder/architect sort of design but the final solution was a logo that looked like it could be very old yet with a modern edge to it. We eventually arrived at a logo that looked like it could be stamped out of steel. Happy engineers!

My client was looking for an eastern-inspired logo with modern touch and favored a mixed palette of natural and metallic tones. The print work utilizes a metallic gold ink for the brush stroked zen symbol and the interior 'E'.

Re-Branding well-loved local politician, Stacy Suits. Brand ID, Print collateral, web and social media content consulting....and he WON his election that followed!

Stacy Suits is true champion of the people – and he LOVES Austin. His previous branding however, was, in a word, terrible. We worked at length with his team to come up with a set of bold logotypes he could use across variety of digital and print platforms.

THE DEAL
I designed this logo and developed the "theme" and tag line to promote the 40th anniversary for this non profit that benefits the global deaf community. This is being used on all outbound communication for the anniversary year (Nov. 2015 – Nov. 2016). The typography does not stray too far from the standard logo for continuity, but is intended to feel less corporate, lighter and more optimistic as the company looks ahead.

This especially particular client wanted an ultra-minimal but impactful brand to promote her booming consultancy. We ran with a luxe, extra-heavy premium stock for her print materials and we were able to do multiple color variations for the URL side of the card.

Stellar distributes LED lighting to clients all over the US. The client wanted something that was fun, friendly and slick. This lively logo harkens back to the neon signs of the Rat Pack days in Las Vegas, but with a clear eye forward.

Sometimes the client has a very clear vision of what they want to see. This busy Canadian tech  IT placement agency's only requirements where that it be "blue, strong and not too cold". I promptly delivered with double blue, friendly and punchy.

Brand ID for local realtor. We ran with a different aesthetic on this project in the end, but we liked how this one turned out as well. Inspired by the famous Leica logo.

I wanted a logo that said 'boxing' but was still very graphic looking and not overly sporty - more Creative Director than Pugilist. We get a lot of compliments on this big, bold logo. We made a challenge for ourselves with the business card as well, utilizing ONLY google webfonts that were used on the website at the time.

We paired a bold text-based logo and orange and black color scheme with varying b&w illustrations that reflected the personality of each unique member of a very diverse staff, whose personal interests ranged from astronomy to rock 'n roll guitar.
